The Levels program was created by world renowned trainer, Sue Ailsby, and is specifically designed to build a strong working relationship between you and your dogs while you work towards the goals YOU choose.

Each Level adds new behaviors, such as Come-When-Called, Stand Stays, eye Contact, Retrieving and Scent Work. Additionally, each level increases the complexity of behaviors behaviors through added distractions, distance and duration. Introduction to Training Levels will create a strong working relationship between you and your dog, a dog who is a willing partner, eager to learn and happy to work.

Each handler and dog will have the opportunity to work at your own pace towards the goals you choose. For more information, contact Linda Alberda. 440-449-9694

Rally Obedience
Maybe you have a senior dog who no longer shows in obedience but still likes to work, or you don’t know if you would like traditional obedience, or you are looking for a fun way to just to have wonderful quality time with your dog.

Originally devised by Charles L. “Bud” Kramer, Rally Obedience is a form of dog obedience with a twist – a total focus on fun and excitement for the dog, handler and spectator.

Dog and handler teams follow a set course, performing the exercise indicated by 10-20 consecutive signs. Signs are numbered to indicate the course the handler and dog take during the performance and each of these stations has a sign providing instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed.

There is a lot of variety with each rally course. And rally is different than Obedience in that handlers may talk to their dogs, praise them, and give them needed verbal commands.

Handlers can even use hand signals, point and in Novice and Advanced, clap and snap their fingers at any time and as often as the handler needs. And it’s not only allowed, but encouraged – making it a really fun sport!

Pre-requisite – Beginners Obedience or evaluation by instructor.
